Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 14: In a significant step forward for home technology in India, Surat has become home to the country’s first dedicated showroom for AI-powered cleaning robots. While artificial intelligence has transformed numerous aspects of daily life—from smartphones to healthcare—household cleaning has remained traditional until now.

Led by entrepreneurs Bhaudip Suhagiya, Nirav Rakholiya, and Vipul Ramani, the brand Robolta aims to transform cleaning practices across Indian homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

“This is not just a showroom—this is a movement,” explains Bhaudip Suhagiya. “We believe the future of cleaning is smart, eco-conscious, and independent. If oAI can power our gadgets and vehicles, why should our cleaning still be manual or dependent?”

The Growing Need for Cleaning Innovation

Modern urban Indian life presents several challenges that make traditional cleaning increasingly tricky:

  • Finding reliable help has become more challenging as work demands increase
  • Many families have growing privacy and safety concerns about outside help.
  • Time limitations affect working professionals, particularly dual-career households.s
  • There’s an increasing demand for thorough, consistent cleaning

Robolta’s cleaning robots address these challenges with an intelligent, automated solution explicitly designedly for Indian homes. These devices can navigate various surfaces, map living spaces, avoid obstacles, and thoroughly clean areas that might otherwise be missed.

Supporting Women Through Technology

A key aspect of Robolta’s mission addresses the uneven distribution of household responsibilities in many Indian homes.

“This is also about women’s empowerment,” notes Nirav Rakholiya. “Technology is meant to make life easier. By reducing the time and effort spent on household chores, we enable women to focus on their careers, health, or passion.”

Environmental Responsibility

Beyond convenience, Robolta has integrated sustainability into its business model. Their robots use significantly less water than conventional cleaning methods, and through their “Clean Home, Green Planet” initiative, the company plants a tree for each robot sold.

“Sustainability is not just a feature, it’s our responsibility,” emphasises Vipul Ramani. “We want to ensure that smart cleaning doesn’t come at the cost of our environment.”

The Robolta Product Line

Located at G52, Homeland City, opposite J.H. Ambani School in Vesu, Surat, the showroom features a comprehensive range of cleaning robots:

  • RQ1 Quora: Entry-level solution for smaller homes and first-time users
  • RX3 Xenith: Compact model with 5000Pa suction and disposable mops
  • RU1 Apex: Premium option with hot-water mop cleaning capabilities
  • RA1 Quantum: All-in-one system with automatic charging and self-maintenance
  • RX5: Featuring both air purification and advanced 3D mapping
  • RC3 & C3 AIR: Specialized for allergen control with UV sterilisation
  • Z3 Slim, Z5 Pro: Designed for pet owners and challenging spaces

Visitors can experience live demonstrations and see the technology’s effectiveness in settings similar to their homes.

Comprehensive Customer Support

Recognising that technology adoption requires reliable support, Robolta has established:

  • Dedicated customer care team
  • Professional installation services throughout Surat
  • Local warranty service center
  • Ready availability of spare parts

“This is only the beginning,” says Bhaudip. “More advanced models, smart home integrations, and voice-based controls are in development. And we’re proud to lead this change from Surat – a city that’s always embraced innovation.”
