If I weren’t a content creator, I’d probably be working for a dentist, says Laakshi Pathak

Mumbai, August 20: Actress and content creator Laakshi Pathak, who is currently having a fruitful career, feels that If she wasn’t a content creator, she would probably be working for a dentist and would have planned to open her dental clinic someday.

Talking about her journey, she says, “I was in my 3rd year of college when I started making videos on Musical.ly. I didn’t even plan to make it a career, but the audience liked what I did, and soon, I realized that this was my chance to pursue something that made me happy. Soon after, I joined a talent agency called Creators Nest. They helped me find my true passion. Nikhil Jerath Sir mentored me personally and helped me find what I was passionate about. I really owe my success to them.”

Being an actor by chance, Laakshi reveals, “I never planned to be an actress; it just kind of happened. In fact, my parents expected me to be a doctor. But I kept making makeup videos. I’m glad I kept moving in this direction because makeup videos turned out to be a huge success. Creators Nest gave me the courage to chase my dreams, and I’m so grateful for that.”

Sharing her experience of working in Mauka E Vardaat, she adds, “The experience was great! I learned a lot about acting while being on set. My co-stars were amazing and supported me. The feeling of facing the camera in such a professional setup was truly exciting. The best part about my work is that I absolutely love what I do. I get to connect with people. It’s awesome that people love watching my videos and genuinely care about me. And fortunately, I make money while doing what I love.”

The entertainment industry is full of competition, but Laakshi feels that she stands out. “The one thing that makes me stand out is my willingness to try different things. I always welcome the chance to improve my skills. My one-of-a-kind personality and positivity are just a couple of things that make me stand out from the crowd,” she shares.

Talking about her inspiration, Laakshi says, “My biggest inspiration is my father. He has taught me humility and hard work are key to achieving greatness. And of course, my mother always valued my opinion and supported me in everything I did. They both are my role models.”

Laakshi has achieved so much at a young age. On this, she says, “I don’t know about calling myself successful so soon. I have so much more to accomplish, learn, improve and achieve if I want to be as successful as all those people whom I admire and look up to. I have a long way to go.”

“Honestly, I am going with the flow and letting life take me where it goes. Also, I’m working on my acting skills! I’m feeling more confident with the way I am now, but If they ever make a remake of Om Shaanti Om, I’d love to play Shantipriya. I like everything about that character. I like her name; I like her outfits, and I even love the way she sounds,” Laakshi concludes.
