Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 7: Sahil Seth is nominated as president for the International Delphic Council of Maharashtra.
The officer from Indian Revenue Services (IRS) and posted as Joint Commissioner in GST Mumbai has been appointed on an Honorary basis to the organization for helping society in preserving art and culture. The International Delphic Council is a non-governmental and non-profit organization to promote art and culture.
The Delphic Games and Olympics games have both originated from Greece, whereas the Olympics is dedicated to sports whereas Delphic promotes art and culture. The organization conducts various games to promote art and culture such as Delphic games, Junior Delphic games, and Continental Delphiads under the patronage of international institutions like UNESCO, the council of Europe, ASEAN and provide a unique platform for art and culture throughout the world.
On his honorary appointment to the Maharashtra Delphic council, Sh Sahil Seth said that the Delphic movement is a voluntary organization. This organization has been formed to encourage arts and cultural activities and It will bring in front the hidden talents of the state and try to reach out to all the places included districts and villages.
