Mechanic2home building a ecosystem of e-commerce, Brands, customers and mechanic to provide services and self employment

Delhi [India] : Mechanic2Home is a venture inspired by the Skill India Program and is aimed to provide installation & repair services to customers right at the comfort of their own home. It also provides job opportunities for the professional Mechanics with basic tooling and enablers.  This venture was started by Randhir Singh Tomar. He had a passion for doing something unique and helping the backward section of the society through self enabling technology.

He wanted to help out the Mechanics, who work hard to earn a living. What irked him the most was in spite of working so hard their monthly income was not enough to sustain their entire family.  This led him to start Mechanic2Home – a platform to bring “skilled workforce to the doorstep of the customer in need of services at a short notice”

Randhir Singh is currently of 40 years of age and based at Gurgaon. He hails from Uttar Pradesh originally. He cleared his MBA in the year 2002 and has worked with several renowned companies to gain experience in the corporate world. However, all of this was not for him and he had other plans of helping people in his mind. A few companies with which Randhir had worked include Pidilite Ind. Ltd., Superhouse Leathers Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Adidas Group, etc in several departments that include Sales, Planning and Advertising.

He has been associated with these companies for approximately 10 years before he started entrepreneurship .

It was in the year 2012 when he started a company named “YS Merchandise International LTD.” He started it with a minimal working capital of 1.10 lakhs. The company dealt in footwear and supplied it to Tele Shopping and eCommerce companies.

Within 4 years of operations, his organization became the biggest market place company in the market but soon after the introduction of Demonetization & GST in India, the sales of the company dropped drastically and it was within one year that he had to shut his venture down.

He had an option of either doing a 9 to 5 job, or to start his journey all over again. He chose the latter and learned from his mistakes. He started a company along with 2 of his ex-colleagues, Mr. Atul Baloni, and Mr Zafar Iqbal and named the venture as “La Gamin Services Pvt Ltd”.

It was in 2020, that his venture started services of ” Mechanic2Home” to deliver installation services to eCommerce consumers. Amazon India was their first B2B customer, who gave them the opportunity of serving the customers in 4 cities initially. If their services were adequate and up to the mark, only then they will be allowed to expand their offerings further.

Within just 5 months, they were successful in expanding their services from 4 cities to 17 cities. From December 2020, they will be serving consumers in 29 cities and they aspire to serve 100 cities by 31 March, 2021. Flipkart India was the second customer that provided them with the opportunity of serving its consumers as well. The Mechanics of Mechanic2Home are All BGV verified and trained.

Mechanics2Home has bagged the Best Emerging Marketplace 2020 award in the Mechanics Category. They are planning to expand their services further by tying up with several brands and eCommerce portals. It is also working to launch a platform for the marketplace of mechanics. Mechanics can choose to register themselves on the app along with the services offered and their own rates. You will conveniently find mechanics of all kinds on this platform that

include Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenter, Mobile, Laptop, Bike, Car, Auto, Emergency Services, etc. With his venture, you can easily call for mechanics to get cater to your servicing needs right at the doorstep or wherever you are.
