Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 14: In a world where many are focused solely on earning money, a modern-day sage stands apart, spending his life savings to protect the ancient temples of Bharat.

In a quiet yet powerful effort to preserve India’s ancient heritage, Eklavya Sakpal, a renowned filmmaker, celebrated mythologist, and demonologist for the International Parapsychological Association, is personally restoring Hindu temples across the country that are mentioned in Vedic scriptures but are not widely known and have fallen into poor condition over time due to a lack of support, funds, and maintenance.

Broken idols, cracked walls, water leaking from ceilings and seeping through floors have become common sights in many such sacred places that were once vibrant with life but now stand silent and damaged.

Deeply moved by seeing the condition of these sacred temples, Eklavya Sakpal decided to take action on his own. Without any financial help from the government or NGOs, he has been repairing and rebuilding these temples at his own expense.

Restoring sacred structures, preserving ancient carvings, reviving their divine beauty, and breathing new life into these holy sites has become Eklavya’s sole purpose.

According to sources close to him, Eklavya prefers to keep his efforts private and does not seek any public attention. Instead, he gives all the credit for his work to the divine, saying that everything happens by the grace of God.

However, while restoring one such ancient temple known as Pipaleshwar Mahadev in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, villagers witnessed his dedication to preserving the temple, which is the only identity and soul of their village. It was from this point that his mission to revive the spiritual and historical legacy of Sanatan Dharma came to light.

Eklavya Sakpal believes that ancient temples are not just places of worship but also Vedic healthcare structures that have served humanity for ages. As a mythologist, he often speaks about the importance of preserving sacred sites for future generations.

By restoring these ancient temples, Eklavya Sakpal is reviving their lost glory and ensuring that future generations can reconnect with their cultural roots.

His work has inspired many local villagers and followers of Sanatan Dharma, who have been praising Eklavya Sakpal for taking responsibility for protecting the ancient temples and their cultural identity. An initiative taken by Eklavya Sakpal stands as a rare example of individual commitment to cultural preservation. While many such temples still require attention, his efforts have already started making a silent and meaningful difference.

For Eklavya, reviving Hindu temples is a mission for preserving faith, history and cultural values without doing any publicity of it. His journey shows the simple truth about how even a single individual driven by conviction and purpose can help safeguard the timeless heritage of a civilization.
